Everything was impossible until someone did it!

The funds from the government were used to produce 40+ videos over a period of 4 months, covering topics of interest for newcomers to Canada such as networking, mentoring, success factors for immigrants in the Canadian job market, the value of volunteering, etc.
We invited subject matter experts and community leaders who inspire, help and support immigrant professionals on a voluntary basis, to share their personal stories and advice.
The process of shooting the videos was very fun for the team!
We exceeded all KPIs (number of views and likes)
We helped newcomers and soon-to-land immigrants with valuable information to accelerate their integration in the Canadian job market and society
We ignited conversations among mentors and mentees in our Group Mentoring Program
We increased the engagement of our volunteers and onboarded new volunteers
On February 24, Miguel Abascal delivered a presentation at the TRIEC PINs Leaders Roundtable to share this experience with other immigrant associations. He gave specific suggestions to overcome barriers in grant application and answered questions from other leaders.
TRIEC also supported us by spreading the word via Twitter and a newsletter!
