Arcelia Camacho

As a lifelong-learner, Arcelia loves exploring ideas through creating, troubleshooting, trial and error, and first-hand experience. Fluent in French and Spanish, she holds a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering and a Master in Engineering with a specialization in Quality Systems and Productivity. 

She immigrated to Canada in 2007 and joined the not-for-profit sector a year later. Arcelia has a 10+ years Project Management career helping fellow newcomers settle and advance their careers in Canada. She loves moving from project to project, building useful tools and processes, and learning from her environment.

It comes as no surprise that Arcelia finds great pleasure in volunteering. In her profile picture, she’s packing meals for families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. At UnstoppableMe, she led the UnstopppableMe Social Media and Communications team for almost four years, and she mentors newcomers through the UnstoppableMe & JVS partnership group mentoring program.
